call back
"I completely understand. I'm married too. I wouldn't want you to get in trouble with your wife/husband and end up having to sleep on the couch.
I'll be glad to send you an estimate and check back with you later.
Let me me ask you this...if this were completely up to YOU, is this something you see yourself doing?
Well then...would you mind if I make you an offer?"
✏️Tips:
• This objection has frustrated sales reps for years. Don't let them fool you. Do they really need to "think about it"?
• While there are times when a client needs to talk to their spouse, the overwhelming majority of clients use this as a their favorite way to blow off the typical sales rep
• The best way to address this is to simply roll right over, just as we do with the I'm not interested objection
• This works on the ladies too. "I wouldn't want to get you in trouble with your husband." Often she will laugh it off saying she can make a decision without him. Just be sure to ask, "Are you sure you're husband won't be upset and cause you to change your mind?" during the wrap-up
